A very tricky season so far so great for the bookies. I've picked out a few this weekend that have some value.
Sunderland (5.5) Draw (3.82) Man Utd (1.8)
This game is of interest mainly because of Adam Johnson. He's no longer playing. Given whats happened and he's one of Sunderland best players, I can see there being a lot of value opposing Sunderland. Manchester United have been blowing hot and cold. They were hot last week at Chelsea and unlucky to have not won all 3 points. Even at 1.8 I think Manchester United are a great price to a Sunderland team who are not only in the relegation zone but also have other things on their mind.
Everton (1.57) Draw (4.4) West Brom (7.5)
Everton come off the back of 2 3-0 wins. They hope to make this a hattrick of wins. I can't see why not. They've been threatening to boil over all season but just haven't delivered yet. West Brom aren't in great form and come off a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle. Overall form has been dire against teams around the bottom.
Chelsea (1.47) Draw (4.85) Newcastle (8.1)
Chelsea didn't play great against Manchester United last week. They were really lucky to get the draw. Thats all they seem to be doing recently. 4 draws out of the last 5 Premiership games. I think that the win at Arsenal would have been a draw too if it was 11 vs 11. Newcastle are hovering above the relegation zone but they give any team a good game. Odds on this game are ridiculous. Certainly on form the home team should be about even money. Given the odds, I think the draw at 4.85 is a great bet.
Arsenal (1.8) Draw (4.25) Leicester (5)
Possibly a title decider. I think if Leicester win they will win the Premiership. On current form, the odds are just crazy. Leicester come off the back of beating the previous favorites 3-1. Its not like it was a smash and grab win, they deserved it. They let Man City have all the possession but were ruthless with the counter attack. Arsenal have gone off the boil and a 2-0 win at a struggling Bournemouth doesn't make me think they should be odds on favorite to beat the top of the table. I am on Leicester this week at a great price.
